Moorestown Day!!

Yesterday was the annual Moorestown Day and they had a street fair and a race going on. My sister rented a spot and we put up a tent and displayed her wares.

Shelia, our family's neighbor and like a second mom to my sister came along to help.

My sister has a tent which really came in handy because it was so hot and humid outside that it gave us shade. We had 3 tables full of products. It looked like we were the only ones selling animal tee shirts and towels (more about the towels later). We also had tees hanging.

Marla (my sister) putting out tees.

Can anyone name this breed of dog?

As we sat there this tall guy came up and he looked very happy. It seems that we were the only ones selling towels and he was desperate for one because he was sweating so heavily. So he bought one.

One of the stalls I missed the actual contest.

Rumor has it that the stalls that were further up the street and nearer the food did better than we did. One stall holder told my sister that she made over $300 and then we hear her tell her daughters that she did badly, so she told a fib to my sister.

We had take away from a new Japanese restaurant for lunch and then I went to get some soft pretzels.

We started packing up about an hour before the final time as did others.

It was an interesting 5 hours even though it was so hot and sticky.
